Gulnoza Usmonova,PhD(c) is a Sustainable Tourism Planning specialist with years of successful experience in Tourism Education, Community Based Tourism engagement and destination marketing. Currently holds the position of Head of Tourism and Hospitality School at Singapore Management Development Institute in Tashkent leading the international Tourism cohort. Gulnoza is a graduate of Economics and International Tourism Management major in Tashkent, Uzbekistan obtaining her doctorate degree at University of Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain. Her research specializes in Community Based Tourism concept engagement and sustainable tourism practices and throughout her research she leads national and overseas training sessions to showcase new Tourism trends, such as tour product design, people factor in authentic routes, and analytics of destination attractiveness tools. Along with leading lectures Gulnoza is co-leader of Tourism Research Team dedicated to destination profiling and evaluation of sustainability perception among stakeholders in Uzbekistan, Central Asia. As fulltime research fellow Gulnoza annualy engages in project works and workshops set within the framework of Institute of Tourism and Sustainable Economic Development, Spain. A strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, a passionate novaturient traveler Gulnoza loves sharing her experience and knowledge with community and academia.
