BACKGROUND

Earned the bachelor’s (English Philology) National University of Uzbekistan and MBA in Tourism Hospitality and Management at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent. Has had an experience in teaching English as a Second Language and English for Academic Purposes of more than 10 years. Recipient of ETTE (English Teaching, Teacher Trainer). In 2018-2020 completed an MBA course at Sunderland University in the faculty Tourism and Hospitality. Her research interests include such fields as Business Communication, Islamic banking and its implementation in the conditions of Uzbekistan, ‘Halal’ Tourism, the emotional, physical, mental effects of online learning, Teaching English in monolingual and bilingual classes, and Preparing teachers for L1 classes, ESP (English for Specific Purposes) Academic Writing, Teaching Strategies and Methodology.

  • 2008 Recipient of ETTE Scholarship, participant of the ETTE Project in Malaysia with other members of local and international school

  • 2008-2010 Teacher Trainer in INSETI Tashkent and the Tashkent region - trained more than 100 teachers as a part of the ETTE project.

  • 2013-2014 Recipient of Ministry of Public Education Scholarship with British Council Uzbekistan on developing and designing the course book for the 1-grade pupils at public schools, teaching L2 to the young learners
