Qualifications:

• A Bachelor Degree (Master’s degree will be welcome)
• At least 3 years of experience in research management or a related area, preferably within a higher education or research institution.
• Demonstrated success in securing funding for research or innovation projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A track record of successful collaboration with industry partners and academic institutions.
• Knowledge of current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the field of research and innovation.
• Bilingualism is mandatory (English, Uzbek, and Russian).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Centre's strategic plan to promote research, innovation, and consultancy activities.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships, to support research and development projects.
• Oversee the management of research projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
• Foster a culture of innovation among faculty, researchers, and students, encouraging the translation of research findings into practical applications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, government agencies, and other external organizations to enhance collaboration and consultancy opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and legal requirements related to research and consultancy activities.

Job Type:

Full-time position. Work schedule Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
