Purpose

To contribute to the academic process of the Institute by teaching undergraduate students as appropriate and supporting them in all aspects of their studies. To develop subject activity in conjunction with professional development as a teacher.

Lecturer for Travel, Hospitality & Tourism subjects is expected  to deliver following modules:

  • Tourism Theories & Practices;
  • Tourism and Hospitality Sales and Promotion;
  • Cultural Heritage Tourism;
  • Global MICE;
  • Service Quality Management in Tourism and Hospitality;
  • Travel and Tourism Work placement;

Qualifications:

 

  • A Master’s Degree or Ph.D. Tourism, Hospitality Management,, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college or university level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and research.
  • 3 years of working experience in relevant industries
  • Professional experience in the tourism and hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • A very high proficiency in English.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in [specific fields or areas, e.g., Tourism, Hospitality Management].
  • Contribute to the school’s curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Participate in mentoring and advising students on academic and career development.
  • Collaborate with faculty members on research projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Engage with the broader business community through partnerships, consulting, and executive education.

 Job Type:

Full-time position. Work schedule Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
