Year 4 students at the School of Tourism and Hospitality @bangor_university have conducted 3 events at the end of semester 2 (Yoga4Unity and Well-being event; Movie night and Charity event for pet shelters).

These events were a part of "The live event" module's assessment, students were asked to work in groups and execute a real event. In doing so, students involved in all event planning stages (Pre-event, during and post-event) include setting goals and objectives, finding source of funds, develop budget, dealing with sponsors, legal documents, selecting venue, Food & Beverage, event promotion/marketing materials, event design, logistics, event running/staging, risk assessment and post-event analysis.

Students were excited throughout the event stages and most important they applied what they learned during previous semesters as well as gained real practical experience.
