MDIS TASHKENT STUDENTS TOOK PART IN A WORKSHOP DELIVERED BY MR JIM O'NEILL
On September 30th, MDIS Tashkent students took part in a workshop delivered by Mr Jim O'Neill - an economist and financier, former chairman of the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Board and the founder of BRICs.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan and was held within the framework of Uzbekistan Economic Forum.
During the workshop, Mr Jim O'Neill made a presentation on economic performance, development stages and the prospects of developed countries. The esteemed guest also spoke about his personal achievements and offered career advice to the young economists.
