MDIS Tashkent, represented by Rector, Dr Jasur Salikhov, and JSCB "TBC Bank", represented by Chairman, Mr Spartak Tetrashvili, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on July 28, 2021.

Concurrently, the meeting was attended by Ms Anna Silagadze, TBC Bank HR Director and Mrs Nodira Rakhimkhodjaeva, Head of School of Banking and Finance, MDIS Tashkent.

It is important to note, that both TBC Bank and MDIS Tashkent have a shared objective of serving the public interest. This MoC aims to provide continued strengthening of future cooperation between the parties in achieving common goals in terms of student employment, fostering start-up initiatives and increasing financial literacy.

The subject of the memorandum includes the provision of trainings for MDIS Tashkent students by the Bank. 3-Month training projects will be arranged biannually, and all successful participants will be awarded with certificates of completion while most capable ones will be offered an employment at TBC Bank.

Apart from social project on Financial Literacy to be run in close cooperation with MDIS Tashkent School of Banking and Finance, another important point of the MoU, is establishing cooperation between TBC Bank and MDIS Tashkent in the sphere of Financial Technologies, which includes exchanging views and projects regarding the development of fintech.

Finally, investments to MDIS Tashkent student start-up projects from TBC Bank. Within the framework of cooperation, innovative projects and start-up ideas will be financially supported by TBC Bank through investments. TBC UZ
