MDIS TASHKENT HOSTED AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL ROUND TABLE ON " THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND INNOVATION".
On September 7, 2021 MDIS Tashkent hosted an international scientific and practical round table on " The role of youth in education, science and innovation".
The event was held in accordance with the President's decree "On the State Program for the Implementation of the Strategy of Action in Five Priority Areas of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021 in the Year of Active Investments and Social Development" and within the framework of the Year of Youth Support and strengthening of public health.
The round table served as a platform for discussing both scientific and practical issues on the implementation of reforms carried out in the country. The main goal was to unite the representatives of public authorities, scientific and educational institutions, foreign experts to exchange experience, and develop new solutions, common strategies for the development and support of youth.
The round table was attended by experts, scientists, representatives of academia from South Korea, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Philippines, Azerbaijan, members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Youth agencies, representatives of government organizations and higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The experts also paid special attention to the role of youth in the 21st century, its involvement in education, science and innovation, the potential and factors of scientific and innovative activity of young people, as well as the role of innovative activities in the development of regions. The created conditions for increasing the activity of young people as a subject of innovation were also noted, along with risks and opportunities for the development of human potential in the context of digitalization of the economy.
