Five important initiatives: Table tennis competition

On April 18, 2024, our institute organised the tasks and activities specified in the memorandum "On cooperation between the branches of foreign higher education institutions in the city of Tashkent and the Tashkent region in order to jointly implement five important initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan." 

The table tennis tournament hosted by MDIS Tashkent included teams of the Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov, Russian Pedagogical University named after A.I. Gersen, Russian University of Chemistry and Technology named after D.I. Mendeleev, Russian University of Economics named after G.V. Plekhanov, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, Tashkent branches of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and "Among the students of the "MISIS" National Research Technological University branch in Olmaliq and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

It should be noted that the competition was held in an upbeat spirit and aroused great interest in the audience, and the irreconcilable disputes between the teams gave the competition a special charm. In the final of the competition, our team took over the team of Moscow State University, named after M.V. Lomonosov in Tashkent.

For the students of our institute, this victory means not only winning the competition but also becoming active implementors of five important initiatives.
