BACKGROUND

Obtained bachelor’s degree from the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies specializing in International Relations. In the interim of Academic leave have obtained an Associate of arts degree in Political Science at Whittier College, California. Further gained a Master’s degree in International Business and Management from Westminster International University in Tashkent. Work experience includes both private companies across Los Angeles, Moscow and Tashkent, as well as governmental agencies, such as the Committee for Foreign Investments of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a head of department for international conferences and business forums. Academic experience spans four years and includes renowned institutions, i.e. Higher School of Economics (Moscow), Management Development Institute of Singapore (Tashkent) and Westminster International University (Tashkent).

Research activities have widely been focused around entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as business management and startup financing. Supervised the research projects of 20 students. Currently a member of the new project of UNDP and Ministry of Innovation ‘Science 100 Uzbekistan’ aimed at developing research skills of female researches in Uzbekistan to enhance their potential to publish academic articles in world-known journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus data bases.
