BACKGROUND
Ms Nodirakhon Akhunova holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics from Uzbek State World Languages University. After completing her studies, she has worked for a number of projects funded by the European Commission, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank in the areas of state governance, law-making and public healthcare. In 2011 Ms Akhunova joined Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent as a part time teacher. Since 2018 she is a full time member of the faculty. Her research interests include communication skills, comparative stylistics, linguistic features of English for legal and diplomatic purposes, and the methodology of teaching L2 to students majoring in economics, business and management.
