Nodira Rakhimkhodjaeva is a Senior lecturer and the Director of Banking and Finance school at Management Development Institute in Tashkent (MDIST).
She started her working career as a manager at Educational Consulting Center under Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE) in 1997. While being a student of TSUE, she worked at the center until receiving her Degree in International Economic Relations, specified in banking and finance.
Upon her graduation from TSUE in 1999, Nodira Rakhimkhodjaeva began her teaching career as an assistant at the Joint Faculty of Business Management opened with the support of the Malaysian government at Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU). Having worked at TSTU for 8 years, she held positions as the Head of Finance Department and The Dean of the Faculty of Business Management. From 2000 to 2001 she was involved in organizing distant learning courses for national universities’ lecturers and teachers working as a part-time employee in the department of Information Technology and Distant Learning under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the republic of Uzbekistan.
From 2002 to 2003, she studied at Sam Houston State University (Texas, USA) on a grant basis received from the Junior Faculty Development Program, which was administrated by ACCELS, USA.
Nodira Rakhimkhodjaeva is actively involved in research activities related to banking, finance and accounting spheres. She has publicized her scientific articles in various journals, both national and international. One of her mutual works with James B. Bexley – endowed chair of Banking at Sam Houston State University on “Commercial Banks Privatization and Creation of Private Banks in Uzbekistan as the Necessary Factor to Restructure the Banking System” was presented at a Spring International Conference with the Allied Academies on April 9-12, 2003 in Tunica, Mississippi, where the article received a Distinguished Research Award.
