BACKGROUND

Dr Lee has served as a module leader for the BSc and BA programmes offered by Bangor University since 2015. She is currently a visiting lecturer at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent. Prior becoming an educator, she was a tourism and hospitality practitioner with more than 20 years of work experience in the airline and hospitality industries (based in Hong Kong, Singapore, and United States of America). Besides, she is also a specialist adult educator (SAE) and certified hospitality educator (CHE) with more than 10 years of professional work experience in training development, adult education, and instructional design for in-house/corporate training programmes. She is qualified to design, develop, and conduct competency-based courses/training that are approved by the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and the Australian Government Department of Education and Training (AQF). In addition, she is actively involved in action research focusing on sustainability and sustainable practices.

 

Dr Lee is an Affiliate Member of the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (USA); American Society for Quality (USA); Association for Talent Development (USA); American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (USA); Adult Education Network (Singapore); and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK).
