On January 18, Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent hosted a seminar with Ms. Aliya Ospanova - the regional director of Elsevier for Central Asia region and Azerbaijan.
The main purpose of the presentation was to provide MDIS Tashkent academic and research staff with tools necessary for using Scopus Database and ScienceDirect platform.
The audience got familiarized with both platforms interfaces and search engines, and was provided with useful tips on scientific performance improvement and citations increase.
Elsevier's Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed academic literature. ScienceDirect is the leading platform containing the largest number of full texts of scientific articles, books and journals.
