Friendly match: MDIS Tashkent - INHA 3:2

  MDIS Campus has welcomed a friendly football match between MDIS Tashkent and INHA Tashkent on the 9th of December, 2016.

  The main purpose of having such competitions on sports is first of all, to have a healthy lifestyle and spend time effectively and efficiently. Simultaneously, such matches among universities improve cooperation and further development of educational institutions not only on education but also other spheres like sport. 

THE CONSTITUTION IS THE KEY TO THE PROSPERITY AND THE FOUNDATION FOR PROGRESS

On the 9th of December MDIS Tashkent welcomed a guest lecturer, a doctor of juridical science, Bobokul Toshev. Guest lecturer had a meeting with MDIS Tashkent students and staff members about the importance of Constitution.
During the meeting, Dr. Bobokul Toshev talked about different topics related to legislation and Constitutions and commented on changes on Constitutions, different legislations and newly-established laws.

Stress Management training

On the 28th of November MDIS Tashkent invited professional psychologists to conduct training among the students. Psychologists talked about different topics related to the stress management and provide some techniques to students for dealing with stress before exam.
Students actively participated and asked a lot of questions during the training. Undoubtedly, training was valuably for students as exams are coming up soon.  

Stanislav Sannikov's visit

On the 24th of November MDIS Tashkent hosted leading businessmen and business trainer of Russia, Stanislav Sannikov.
At the beginning of the event final stage of public speaking competition was held. 10 participants out of 58 delivered their speeches which were evaluated by the judges committee which consist of Stanislav Sannikov and lectures of MDIS Tashkent.

Chess Tournament

On the 23rd of November, 2016, MDIS Tashkent in collaboration with Uzbekistan Chess Federation conducted Chess Tournament within the framework of the Sports Week.

Lecture on the theme: International Arbitrage and Interest Rate Parity

In continuation of the MDIS’s tradition of inviting leading global experts on campus, the November 19 visit of Ms. Dilshoda Yergasheva, a Portfolio Manager at State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) was no exception. Ms. Yergasheva, who holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School (HBS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math and Economics also from Harvard University, delivered a guest speaker lecture as part of the International Finance module to the same cohort of final-year students of Bangor University.

4 December 2016 announced as the day of elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In accordance with Articles 96, 117 of the Constitution and Article 8 of the Law "On elections of the President of Uzbekistan", Articles 5 and 9 of the Law "On the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan", the Central Election Commission set 4 December 2016 as the day of elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

All activities related to the preparation and conduct of elections is carrying out by the Central Election Commission, in strict accordance to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

KEY ELEMENTS OF A SUCCESSFUL RESTAURANT

On the 18th of November, 2016, MDIS Tashkent hosted the Chairman of the Committee in Developing Restaurant and Hotel Business under Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Restaurant Business Academy Founder, Timur Abdullayev.  
Mr. Timur Abdullayev conducted Friday Talk event  where he explained key elements of a successful restaurant. The audience was very excited by the speech of guest lecturer and actively participated in Friday Talk.

Conference on Entrepreneurship and Industrial Management

The Conference “Modern Studies and Contemporary Issues in Business Management” has taken place on November 17, 2016 at premises of the MDIS Tashkent. The basic objective of the Conference is to bring together researchers, students and business representatives for a corporate scientific discussion about the contemporary issues in business and management in the context of globalization.

Lecture on the theme: Currency Derivatives

On November 12th, final year students of Bangor University’s ‘Banking and Finance’ as well as ‘Finance, Investment and Risk’ programs had a privilege of hosting Ms. Maftuna Azizova, - a former Standard and Poor’s (S&P) Associate Director - as their guest lecturer. Ms. Azizova delivered a lecture on Currency Derivatives as part of the International Finance module, taught by Ms. Sara Shamsutdinova (module lead lecturer) and by Ms. Inoyathon Sadikova and Mr. Otabek Khatamov (module tutors).
